Dashboard

The dashboard shows all your shotlists and templates, allows you to create new ones as well as manage collaborations and your account.

The sidebar displays shotlists and templates split into categories. All shotlists created by you will appear under "My Shotlists", while all shotlists you are collaborating on will appear under "Shared Shotlists". The "My Templates" section shows all your templates. Each section can be collapsed by clicking on its name.

Collaborations

In the bottom-left corner, you can manage collaboration requests using the Collaborations button or the shortcut Alt + C. This opens a list of pending collaboration requests. If you have pending requests, a yellow badge will appear on the button to notify you. If you do not see a request that was sent recently, you may need to refresh the request list.

You can accept or decline requests by clicking the checkmark or X icon. When you accept a request, the shotlist will appear both in your sidebar and on your dashboard. If you decline the request, it will disappear, and the shotlist owner can resend the request.

Account

Below the Collaborations button, you will find another button that opens the Account dialog, where you can manage your account and settings.

Templates and Shotlists

Most of the dashboard space is occupied by cards displaying recently edited shotlists and templates. A maximum of 8 items will be displayed per category. They are ordered by their "Last edited" time, which also includes edits made by collaborators.

Shotlists display:

  • Name
  • Number of scenes
  • Total number of shots
  • Creator of the shotlist
  • Last edited time

Templates display:

  • Name
  • Number of scene attributes
  • Number of shot attributes
  • Creator of the template

Note

This section will be hidden when using shotly on your phone. You can still view this data in the General tab of the Shotlist Options.

Keybinds

On the dashboard, or while viewing a template, you can use the following keybinds:

  • Create a new Shotlist: Alt + N or Alt + S
  • Create a new Template: Alt + T
  • Open the Account dialog: Alt + A
  • View Collaboration requests: Alt + C
  • Return to the Dashboard: Alt + H
